Andrea's Two Week Challenge!
Story
Hello Everyone!
I'm taking part in the Sussan Women's Fun Run 2012 and raising much needed funds for the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).
This will be my second Sussan 10km Challenge and this year I am aiming to crack the 60 minute mark and also set myself the extra challenge of raising $2,000 in 2 weeks!
So why am I so passionate about this cause you ask??? It is very dear to my heart after losing my mother to the disease when I was 4. I take this run as my opportunity to help raise much needed funds for this great cause, publicly remember my mother (she was only 42 when she died) and physically challenge myself - 10km is a long way on foot!!!
Did you know that every day, 38 women will be told they have breast cancer and 7 women will be lost to the disease. Your money will go towards providing newly diagnosed women with quality information and support.

PS. The picture is of my first Sussan Classic race last year with my Dad and Sister who both flew to Australia for the run. Will miss them attending this year but know they will be supporting from overseas. x
